The American Pet Products Association (APPA) announced that all aquarium heaters sold in the U.S. must pass dry-burn safety certification by January 1, 2025, following 127 reported fire incidents in 2023.
Taucken’s Compliance:
TheAquarium Heaterseries has already passed APPA’s new standards, becoming one of the compliant products.
The safety inspection line was added in the factory, and the production capacity was increased to10,000 units per month.
Chen Feng, Secretary General of the China Aquarium Equipment Alliance, said: "There are many large, medium and small enterprises like Taucken. Their active response and technical reserves provide a model for domestic enterprises to cope with the upgrading of international regulations, which is expected to drive the overall improvement of industry safety standards."
